The Glenrothes Vintage 1988
Introducing Vintage 1988
Vintages from the 1970’s and 1980’s are increasingly
rare. The Vintage 1988 is of that rare breed. Never
before bottled, the Vintage has benefited from more
than two decades maturing. In this Vintage, half
the casks were American oak first fill Sherry, the
rest a combination of Spanish and American oak,
previously seasoned with both Sherry and whisky.
The combination gives the 1988 citrus notes, a
delicious cooked orange flavor and plenty of
fruit as well.
