Pink Pigeon is the super-premium Mauritian Rum hand crafted on the Medine Sugar Estate within the tropical island of Mauritius—the jewel of the Indian Ocean.
Medine Distillery has been producing the finest Mauritian rums since 1926, making it the oldest working distillery on the Island. Pink Pigeon Rum is produced from molasses made from our juicy sugar canes. We use 4 columns continuous stills to produce a light and smooth rum. After distillation, our rum is infused with handpicked and hand-pollinated Bourbon vanilla from orchids that grow in the rainforest canopy of Madagascar and the rich volcanic soil of the Reunion Islands. Bourbon vanilla gives to our rum its rich and creamy texture with notes of tropical fruits and sweet spices. For extra balance and complexity, we will also add orange peel and orchid petals. Orange peel from the Indian Ocean add freshness and zing while orchid petals from Reunion Island release delightful honey notes with hints of white flower and gentian.
