Glen Scotia is one of only three distilleries remaining in Campbeltown.

Like Springbank across town, the water comes from Crosshill Loch, as well as from two wells bored 80 feet down into the rock beneath the distillery. It can produce a fine malt with the distinctive peat of the Mull of Kintyre. The Campbeltown sea mist aroma is evident: the aroma is magnificent, as is the smooth, salty palate and the warm finish is remarkably long and powerful.
