Bottled at a cask strength and a limited release of 685 bottles.

BenRiach continually fingerprints their extensive inventory from their warehouses to identify very special casks. Each year they select a small number of these casks which display outstanding distinction of taste as a result of the many factors at play during the long maturation process. These are something to look out for as they are indeed rare and exceptional.

The malt for this release was actually dried for a number of hours over a peat fire and was finished off in the choicest Pedro Ximenez sherry puncheons, which gives a deep level of smoke aromas and a concentration of fruit flavours.

Appearance: Deep amber gold

Nose: Sweet peat and dried sultanas on a bed of stewed fruit drizzeled with honey
